I agree that it's "a tale to warm your gizzard", but I'm perhaps more bothered than I should be that having three raptors is a purely stylistic tripling; as far as the plot is concerned, CeeCee's sisters are nearly superfluous, and utterly indistinguishable. But then, the story is already purple with flourishes, so tripling the heroine is just "more of the same" (so to speak).
