Date: 2018-09-02 04:19 am (UTC)I've about concluded that either I'm on the spectrum but at the very low end of it, or I was one of the lucky ones who learned to compensate as I got older, and so really don't fit that description any more.

Date: 2018-09-06 08:27 pm (UTC)I think there is a central stereotype for "the autistic type", but between the variations we start with and the differences in the environment we have to deal with, well, that's a lot of range for development. Which makes it really hard to draw good generalizations, but when has that ever stopped anyone from drawing generalizations?
